Super Duplex Steel Forged Fittings are primarily composed of 50% austenitic phase and 50% ferritic phase, with high chromium (19-28%), molybdenum (3-5%), and nickel (4-6%) content. This composition offers exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride-rich environments. The mechanical properties include high tensile strength (up to 80-100 ksi or 550-690 MPa), yield strength (around 50-75 ksi or 345-515 MPa), and hardness (around 300 HB). These fittings also exhibit excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion, making them ideal for demanding applications.

Super Duplex Steel Forged Fittings have approximately 25% chromium, 7% nickel, 3.5–4% molybdenum, and nitrogen content with a high Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN > 40). The austenitic-ferritic two-phase microstructure offers good tensile strength (up to 800 MPa), high yield strength (approximately 550 MPa), and excellent resistance against chloride-induced corrosion and erosion fatigue. This renders super duplex steel most suitable for aggressive environments with seawater and tough chemicals.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
