The Nickel Alloy 201 Buttweld Fittings are highly pure with at least 99.6% nickel and a content of carbon and other alloy elements that is less than 0.02%. It highly resists caustic alkalies and reducing chemicals, as well as showing great mechanical strengths in tensile strength in the order of 403 MPa and yield strength as high as 103 MPa in most applications. Low in carbon, this alloy boasts more resistance to graphitization and can thus be allowed to be highly exposed at elevated temperatures over 315°C in being embrittled.

Nickel Alloy 201 Buttweld Fittings are widely used in industries that handle caustic soda, salt, food chemicals, and high-purity solvents. Common applications include evaporators, reactors, heat exchangers, marine equipment, synthetic fiber production, and electronics manufacturing. These fittings provide strong, leak-proof joints and resist corrosion in highly alkaline and mildly acidic environments. Their thermal stability and stress corrosion cracking resistance render them perfectly suitable for high-reliability systems requiring long-term performance and dependability in chemically aggressive environments.
